The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, West Bengal and Sikkim has invited applications for the recruitment of Meritorious Sportspersons in different games/sports for posts of Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, and Multi-Tasking Staff.

Interested candidates should check the below-given details and apply for the vacancies. The last date for the submission of the application form is 28.11.2022 (up to 6 pm).

Income Tax Inspector: 01 Post

Tax Assistant: 05 Posts

Multi-Tasking Staff: 18 Posts

Departmental candidates with three years of continuous service in the Central Government can apply up to the age of 40 years (45 years for SC/ST candidates).

Salary Detail:

Inspector of Income Tax: Pay Level 7 of the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.4,600 in PB-2 of Rs.9,300-34,800 of 6th CPC.

Tax Assistant: Pay Level 4 of the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.2,400 in PB-I of Rs.5,200-20,200 of 6th CPC.

Multi-Tasking Staff: Pay Level 1 of the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.1,800 in PB-I of Rs.5,200-20,200 of 6th CPC.

Selection Process: The applications will be shortlisted on the basis of the evaluation of their best three performances in the last four years (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021), age and best performance of the candidate in their career in respective sports events.

office of the undersigned on or before 28.11.2022 (up to 6 p.m.). The envelope containing the application should also be superscripted as follows:
