Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates willing to apply for the Non-Executive posts must ensure that they fulfil the required IOCL Non-Executive Eligibility Criteria 2025 in terms of educational qualification, age limit, and other conditions as specified in the official advertisement.

For Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production / P&U / P&U-O&M / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation):
Candidates are generally required to possess a 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institute with minimum prescribed aggregate marks, along with any experience requirements as notified for specific posts.
For Junior Quality Control Analyst-IV:
Candidates must have a qualifying degree such as B.Sc./M.Sc. or equivalent in Chemistry or related discipline with minimum specified percentage and relevant experience, as per the detailed notification.

Age Limit (As on 20-12-2025)

Selection Process :
The IOCL Non-Executive selection is based mainly on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by the Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) for shortlisted candidates and subsequent document verification and medical fitness.
The selection process is carried out in the following main stages:
1. Screening of Candidates (CBT):Â Eligible candidates who apply online will be called for a Computer Based Test assessing technical knowledge, general aptitude and other relevant skills as per post. The CBT will be conducted at various centres, and the exact date and city/centre of CBT shall be communicated separately through call letters and website updates.
2. Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT):Â Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CBT will be called for SPPT, which evaluates their practical skills, trade proficiency, and physical standards wherever applicable. Only those who qualify in SPPT and meet all eligibility criteria in document verification and medical examination will be considered for final selection.
Final Merit:Â The final merit list is prepared based on performance in CBT and qualifying status in SPPT, as per IOCLâs notified selection criteria for the respective posts.
Important Instructions :

Salary :
Candidates selected as Non-Executive personnel (such as Junior Engineering Assistant-IV / Junior Technical Assistant-IV) in IOCL Refineries Division are appointed in the pay scale of Rs. 25,000â1,05,000/-. The approximate monthly gross emoluments at refinery locations, including basic pay and allowances such as DA, HRA and other benefits, are attractive and in line with Maharatna PSU standards.
