Online Applications from the eligible and interested candidates of domiciles of UT of J&K are invited for the positions as detailed below on project / need basis in the Engineering Wing, IUST. The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Terms and Conditions / Instructions :
1. The engagement shall be purely project / need basis and shall not confer any right whatsoever on the prospective engagement to claim continuation or otherwise and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
2. The engagement will be initially for a period of 12 months and is extendable by 6 months maximum up to the duration of the project and based on the performance.
3. The salary component is subject to the availability of the funds.
4. Experience shall mean professional experience in the relevant field.
5. Candidates are required to apply online through University website www.iust.ac.in. No other means / mode of application will be accepted. The non – refundable fee of Rs. 200/- (two hundred only) shall have to be deposited as application fee through online mode by debit card / credit card/ net banking.
6. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date & place of written test / interview through e-mail/ website whichever suitable. However, University does not take any responsibility for non-receipt or delayed receipt of the intimation by a candidate.
7. The University reserves the right to defer / not to filling up of post advertised here-in above, without assigning any reason thereof.
8. The University reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of posts advertised herein-above.
9. The engaged candidates shall be bound to act in conformity with the university policy applicable in this regard.
10. The engagement order / salary in favour of the recommended candidate(s) shall not be issued until a satisfactory report about his / her character & antecedents from relevant agencies is not received.
11. In case of any disputes /suites or legal proceedings against the University, the jurisdiction shall be confined to the court of Srinagar only.
12. No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for appearing in the test / interview
