Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the below-mentioned position available in the research project on “Documentation and Conservation of Three Historical Graveyards of Kashmir” supported by the Barakat Trust, UK. The engagement is purely temporary and is co-terminous with the project.

Name of the post : Research Associate
Number of posts : 01
Salary per month : Rs. 40,000/- per month consolidated
Eligibility : Bachelors Degree in Architecture with at least one year of work experience.
Desirable : Masters degree in Architecture or equivalent; familiarity with graphic design and 3D modelling softwares; work experience in culture and heritage sector
Terms & Conditions :
1. The appointment shall be purely temporary for a period of one year or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
2. The appointee shall not claim whatsoever for regularization in the university during project tenure or after the project concludes.
3. The appointee shall be governed by the disciplinary regulations of the university.
4. The appointee will be reviewed periodically for performance and if it is found unsatisfactory, the engagement will be terminated at any time without any prior notice.
5. The appointee is neither permitted to publish the research findings of the project without consent of the Principal Investigator nor disclose the information pertaining to intellectual property rights.
6. The terms and conditions governing the service shall be as per the rules & regulations of university and/or funding agency (wherever applicable) with amendments from time to time.
7. The University reserves the right to defer / not to filling up of post advertised here-in above, without assigning any reason thereof.
8. The salary component is subject to the release of funds by the funding agency.
