- Must be a permanent resident of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Domicile Certificate is mandatory.

- Candidates must belong to border districts of J&K such as:
- Jammu
- Samba
- Kathua
- Rajouri
- Poonch
- Kupwara
- Baramulla
Note: Preference is given to candidates from villages located within 0–10 km from the international border (IB) or Line of Control (LoC).
🎓 3. Educational Qualification for JK Border Battalion Jobs
- Minimum: 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
- Higher qualifications are accepted, but 10th pass is the basic requirement.
