JK High Court District Judge Recruitment 2024

The High Court of J&K and Ladakh has released a notice in supersession of advertisement notification No. 03 of 2024 for the recruitment of District Judges. Fresh applications through online mode are invited through online mode from eligible Advocates for filling up the posts of District Judges (Entry Level) by direct recruitment.

Referring to the fresh notification of JK High Court District Judge Recruitment 2024, this recruitment drive will fill up 16 Vacancies for District Judges. Applicants are required to apply online through the recruitment portal of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, the link of which will be available on the website of the High Court: https://www.jkhighcourt.nic.in from 12-08-2024.

Name of the post: District Judges 16 Post

Experience: Applicant must be a practicing Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction and must have been in actual practice for a period of not less than seven years as on the last date of the receipt of the application.

Application Fees:

The prescribed application fee is Rs.1200/-. After the successful submission of the online application form, the candidate will be required to deposit the requisite fee through online mode.

Eligibility:-

In order to be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment to the cadre of the service, the incumbent:-

a) Must possess a Degree in Law from a recognized University established by Law in India and recognized as such by the Bar Council of India;

b) must be a practicing advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction and must have been in actual practice for a period of not less than seven years as on the last date of the receipt of the application and in this regard the candidate must submit an experience certificate issued by the concerned Principal District and Sessions Judge/Registrar Judicial of the concerned Wing of the High Court in the format annexed as Annexure-A;

c) must have attained the age of 35 years and not above the age of 45 years (relaxable in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward

Classes by two years) as on the date of receipt of the application; and

d) must be proficient in reading and writing Urdu.

Fill in the application form.
Upload the necessary documents.
Pay the application fee (The prescribed application fee is Rs.1200/-).
Submit the form and take a print of the final submitted form for future use.

The Last date for filling up of online application form, complete in all respects along with the requisite fee is 15-07-2024

Note:-

a) Any wrong or incorrect information furnished by the candidate shall lead to the rejection of his/her candidature at any stage.

b) Applications along with the prescribed fee will be received only through online mode on recruitment portal of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir link of which will be activated on 12.08.2024 on the website of the High Court: https://www.jkhighcourt.nic.in.

c) Last date for filling up of online application form complete in all aspects along with the requisite fee is 01.09.2024.

d) Submission of Application Form and fee payment shall not be accepted/entertained after the cut-off date fixed for receipt of the same.

e) The printout of the application along with the fee payment receipt and required copies of documents shall be kept ready to be submitted as and when required.

f) The eligible candidates shall have to appear in the test on the date(s) notified separately. No separate call letters shall be issued individually; however, wide publicity shall be given through print and electronic media, official website https://www.ikhiqhcourt.nic.in of the High Court about the venues, dates of written test/ interview for the information of eligible candidates. No claim of being unaware of the dates/schedule for written test/interview shall be entertained.

g) No TA/DA shall be paid for the test/interview.

h) Incomplete application(s) or application(s), received after the last date or received by any other mode than specified above, shall not be entertained.
