All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jammu, an Institute of National Importance, is one of the new AIIMS and apex healthcare Institute under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) which has been established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, with the aim of correcting regional imbalance in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate, postgraduate and higher medical education and training.
Online applications from Indian citizens/persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 as permissible under the applicable Act/Rules are invited for the following faculty posts on Direct Recruitment Basis in various departments of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jammu.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS :
1. The AIIMS, Vijaypur, Jammu reserves the rights to increase or decrease or not to fill up any post(s) without assigning any reason. The Competent Authority reserves the right to amend, cancel or change this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.
2. The posts are whole time and private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited.
3. All posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at Samba (Vijaypur) UT of J&K.
4. Applicants must possess the essential qualification and experience up-to-the last date of online submission of application(s). Their candidature will be cancelled at any stage if it is found that their educational qualification or experiences is/are not genuine.
5. SELECTION PROCESS : Selection is based on performance in the Interview. However, written test or screening, based on objective criteria may be done to shortlist applicants to be called for interview. The decision of the Competent Authority regarding shortlisting of candidates to be called for interview, would be final and binding on all candidates.
6. MODE OF INTERVIEW: For interview, a candidate has to appear in person. No request for an online interview i.e., through electronic media will be accepted and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
7. Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.
8. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
9. All disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of Court of Law at Jammu UT of J& K.
