ADDENDUM / CORRIGENDUM

It is notified for the information of all concerned that the recruitment through CSB for regular appointments 2026–27 for the posts of PGTs and TGTs published in Daily Excelsior and Times of India on 07 December 2025 stands cancelled.

The application form will be submitted for PGTs, TGTs and PRTs for term-based teachers through the Local Selection Board (LSB). LSB interview for the academic session 2026–27 for term-based teachers of the following anticipated posts for Army Public School Rakhmuthi, Akhnoor and Nagrota is scheduled to be held at APS Rakhmuthi on behalf of HQ Northern Command.

Anticipated Posts and Subjects

For APS Rakhmuthi

TGTs: Science, English, Hindi and Social Studies
PRTs: PRTs

For APS Akhnoor

PGTs: English and Commerce
TGTs: Physical Health Education

For APS Nagrota

PGTs: Physical Health Education and English
TGTs: Physical Health Education, Art & Craft, Hindi and Social Studies

Notes

(a) Candidates who have already applied for the posts mentioned in the previous advertisement published in Daily Excelsior and Times of India on 07 December 2025 are not required to submit fresh applications. Their earlier applications will be considered for term-based teachers at the same school through LSB for a period of four years.

(b) Salary and DA are applicable as per AWES norms.

(d) No TA/DA is admissible for interview.

CTET is mandatory for PRT and TGT. OST-qualified candidates will be preferred for PRT, TGT and PGT.

Passing the Online Screening Test (OST) is not mandatory for appearing in the interview and evaluation of teaching skills and computer proficiency. However, after selection for the post of a term-based teacher, the candidate must pass the OST within two years of appointment with a minimum overall raw score of 50% (100 marks), failing which the post will be cancelled.

Application forms and details can be obtained from APS Rakhmuthi between 0900 hrs to 1400 hrs on all working days. Forms can also be downloaded from the school website: www.apsrakhmuthi.org.
The application form along with a Demand Draft of ₹250/- in favour of Army Public School Rakhmuthi, payable at Akhnoor, and self-attested copies of all educational and experience certificates must be submitted to the school where the post is applied (APS Akhnoor / APS Rakhmuthi / APS Nagrota) on or before 17 January 2026 by 1000 hrs.
Applications sent via e-mail will not be accepted.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview telephonically or by e-mail.
