Job Recruitment in Central University of Jammu
Walk –in interview for the post of one Field Worker under project entitled “Source Apportionment of Ambient Aerosols in Non-attainment City of Srinagar and Upgradation of HARI Facility” is scheduled on 12th September, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Department of Environmental Sciences, Central University of Jammu. This purely temporary post will be filled up on contract basis initially for
six months with an extension of another six months on the availability of funds. Candidates will have no right to claim any regular appointment.
The details are as follows :
Position : One Field Worker
Consolidated Monthly Fellowship : Rs.18000 + 18% HRA
Duration : Six months
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in any Science discipline.
Desirable Qualification : Good knowledge/experience of aerosol sampling and gravimetric techniques.
Upper Age Limit (years) : 50 years
Job Responsibilities :
The job responsibilities are not limited to but also include intensive aerosol sampling campaign at different stations in Srinagar including JKPCC office and laboratory analysis in Central University of Jammu.
No separate travel allowance will be provided for this purpose
Interested candidates who fulfill the above conditions are required to bring their passport size photograph 10th,12th, Graduation and Master’s marksheet along with a Xerox file, CV, work certificate (if any) and a 1-page motivation letter stating previous research experience.
General Terms and Conditions :
1. The above fellowship is purely on a temporary basis for one year period.
2. The selected individual may be assigned any other duties from time to time commensurate with his/her qualifications.
3. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
4. Central University of Jammu reserves every right to cancel out the process and/or not fill these temporary position(s) at any stage of selection process.
