Job Recruitment in Central University of Jammu, Salary :Rs. 37,000 pm
Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow under the Indo-Swiss Joint Research Project titled “Ice nucleating particles and cloud condensation nuclei properties in the North-Western Himalayas (ICE-CRUNCH)”. This project presents a unique opportunity to study aerosol properties over a high altitude site in Jammu region in collaboration with ETH Zurich, Switzerland. The post will be filled up on contract basis initially for one year and can be extended upto three years or completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Candidates will have no right to claim any regular appointment.
Position : Junior Research Fellow
Consolidated Monthly Fellowship : Rs. 37000 + 10% HRA
Essential Qualification :
1. M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences/Atmospheric Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks.
2. NET/GATE or equivalent examination
Desirable Qualification
The candidate having in-depth knowledge of aerosol measurement techniques and data analysis in MATLAB, Python or similar software will be given preference

3. The above fellowship is purely on a temporary basis initially for one year period and can be extended to three years subject to fund availability and performance.
4. The selected individual may be assigned any other duties from time to time commensurate with his/her qualifications.
