Applications are invited from the eligible candidates (Domicile of UT of J8K) for engagement against the post mentioned below on Academic Arrangement Basis in Terms of S.O 364 of 2020, dated 27.11.2020 for a period of one year or till the selection/promotion is made in accordance with the recruitment rules, governing the respective posts, which is earlier

Eligibility : 10+2 with Science or above qualification with Diploma/Degree in Medical Lab Technology from any recognized
Institute or Medical Assistant Course from any recognized Institute
General Instructions :-

Candidates are advised to go through the terms and conditions before filling up the application form.
The last date for submission of the Application Form complete in all respects along with all the relevant documents and application fees in the office of the Principal GMC, Kathua (Administrative Block) before 03:00 pm is on 08-11-2025
The fee for the application form is Rs. 200/- which is Non-Refundable (Rupees two hundred only) to be paid online at the time of submitting Application Form.
The short-listing of candidates for Written Test (MCQ Type) will be notified on official web site of GMC Kathua https://gmckathua.in/
The dates, time and venue of the Written Test (MCQ Type) and all further communications regarding this Academic Arrangement advertisement will be notified only on official web site of GMC Kathua https://gmckathua.in/
The candidates need to submit an affidavit duly attested by First Class Magistrate at the time of joining. The format is enclosed as Annexure “В

1. Candidates applying for the post should not be more than 63 years of age as on the date of issuance of notice.
2. The appointment under these rules shall not entitle the appointee to any preferential claim for regular appointment.
3. The appointment on academic arrangement basis of the appointee shall be terminable on either side by prior notice of one month or on payment of one month’s salary by the appointing authority: Provided that the appointment of the appointee shall be terminable without notice by the appointing authority whenever the post is filled up under rules and the appointee shall have no claim against the Government or the appointing authority.
4. Candidates are requested to submit all the mandatory prescribed/requisite documents along-with Application Form well before the Last date to avoid last minute rush. In case the mandatory prescribed/ requisite document is not submitted with the online application form, candidature of the applicant is liable to be rejected without any further notice.
5. The consolidated salary shall be paid as per criteria mentioned in SO 364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020 as long as he/she
remains in the service and actually performs his/her duties.
6. In- Service candidate need not apply.
7. Administration of GMC Kathua reserves the right to Increase or Decrease the above-mentioned number of vacancies
listed against each post or decides not to fill the vacancies at any point of time during recruitment process without prior
information to the candidates.
8. Candidates are warned not to furnish any particulars that are false or suppress relevant material information. Strict
action will be taken against candidates who found guilty under rules.
9. In case of a tie, the candidate possessing higher qualification will be given preference. If the tie still persists, the candidate with higher merit in the 12th class examination will be preferred, and if it still continues, the candidate of higher age will be given preference. “List of documents to be attached with the application form (a) Date of Birth Certificate.

(e) Degree/Diploma from recognized Institute.
(f) Marks sheet of all years and also one consolidated marks sheet indicating marks of all the years of the Degree/Diploma, issued by the concerned Institute.
(g) Registration from Jammu and Kashmir Paramedical and Nursing Council.
(h) Experience Certificate, if any.
