Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the below mentioned position at Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) of Associated Hospital, GMC Rajouri approved by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MoSJE), Government of India and Nationally coordinated by National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS) on contractual basis initially upto 31.03.2026 and further extendable on yearly basis subject to good performance and conduct or till the continuation of Centrally Sponsored Scheme.

Eligibility criteria :
MBBS from a recognized institution along with Medical Council Registration (Preferable MD or Equivalent qualification in Psychiatry)
Remuneration : Rs. 60,000/ month
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :-
Application Form is enclosed as Annexure “А”. Candidates are advised to go through the terms and conditions up the before filling application form.
The last date for submission of the Application Form completed in all aspects along with all the relevant documents in the office of the Principal GMC, Rajouri (Administrative Block) by or before 05:00 pm on 16.09.2025.
The candidates shall have to execute a contract agreement with the Principal, GMC Rajouri/Nodal Officer ATF that he/she shall not claim for any regular appointment/extension in the department at the time of joining.
No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidate(s) for attending the viva voce/interview/written test.
In case, the last date fixed for receipt of application is declared a holiday, next working day shall be deemed to be last date for receiving the application forms.
The application should be superscripted as APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF MEDICAL OFFICER UNDER ATF wherever applicable.
TERMS & CONDITIONS :
1. The Candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.
2. The hiring is purely on contractual basis initially upto 31.03.2026 and further extendable on yearly basis subject to good performance and conduct or till the continuation of Centrally Sponsored Scheme.
3. The appointing authority shall have the right to terminate hiring without assigning any reason.
4. The engagement can be terminated on account of non/poor performance without any notice keeping in view the public health importance of the programme.
5. Candidates are requested to submit all the mandatory prescribed/requisite documents along with Application Form well before the Last date to avoid last minute rush. In case the mandatory prescribed/ requisite document is not submitted with the application form, candidature of the applicant is liable to be rejected without any further notice.
6. Number of vacant post may be increased or decreased at any point of time during the recruitment process.
7. Candidates are warned not to furnish any particulars that are false or suppress relevant material information. Candidates found guilty will be debarred from applying for the next 02 years.
8. The candidate shall have to give one-month advance notice before leaving the job.
9. The contractual hiring shall not confer any right on the candidate to claim extension or benefits of regularization.
10. The entitlement of leave, travel etc, shall be governed by the relevant rules applicable.
11. The hiring shall be governed by other terms and conditions as are not specifically mentioned herein but are made applicable in case of such appointments at any time by the appointing authority.
12. No separate interview call letters shall be issued individually.
The applicants shall submit the dully filled application form in the prescribed format along with the following self-attested documents:
1. Matriculation certificate /Date of Birth certificate.
2. Relevant essential qualification certificate including 10th, 12th, MBSS marks cards and MBBS/ MD Psychiatry Degree Certificates.
3. MBBS/MD Psychiatry Degree Registration certificate from MCI/ State Medical council/J&K State Medical Council.
4. Domicile of J&K Certificate.
5. One passport size photograph to be affixed on the application form & one spare photograph to be submitted along with the form.
