Engagement of Faculty in various disciplines of GMC Rajouri

Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible candidates (PSC/Non-PSC doctors) who are permanent residents/domicile of UT of J&K for engagement as Faculty members in various disciplines of GMC Rajouri.
Eligibility Criteria :-
The candidates should be eligible for the post applied for in terms of S.0-288 dated 18.08.2021 of Health and Medical Education Department.
Selection Criteria :-
The Selection of the candidates for the advertised post shall be made vide Govt. Order No. 282-JK (HME) of 2023 dated 04.04.2023.
The assessment criteria for various posts as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK (HME) of 2023 dated 04.04.2023 are enclosed:-
1. Professor – Annexure A (Copy enclosed)
2. Associate Professor -Annexure B (Copy enclosed)
3. Assistant Professor -Annexure C (Copy enclosed)
For PSC (In-service) Candidates :
a. The in-service doctor shall be paid salary as per their LPC.
b. The in-service doctor shall be allowed to participate in the selection process only
with the prior permission of the Administrative Department. For the purpose they should route their application forms through the Administrative Department. One advance copy should be submitted in the office of the undersigned. And under no circumstances, no candidate shall be allowed to participate in the selection process without the prior approval of the Administrative Department.
C. In case of selection, they will be allowed to join only after being relieved from their Administrative Department.
For Candidates who are not in Government Service (Non-PSC Candidates).
a. The Non-PSC doctors shall be engaged purely on “Academic Arrangement basis” vide S.O-364 of 2020 dated 27th of November, 2020, i.e. Jammu and Kashmir Medical and Dental Education (Appointment on Academic Arrangement Basis), Rules, 2020 [these rules have replaced the Jammu and Kashmir Medical & Dental Education (Appointment on Academic Arrangement Basis) Rules, 2019 dated 10.01.2019],
b. For the post of Professor & Associate Professor initially for a period of three (03) years and extendable upto a maximum of six (06) years as per S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020.
c. For the post of Assistant Professor initial engagement will be for a period of one (01) year extendable up-to six (06) years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct).
d. The maximum age at the time of submitting application shall be determined in terms of S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020.
Documents to be attached :-
The candidates are advised to enclose the self-attested copies of the following documents with their application forms which should reach in the office of the undersigned by or before 25.10.2025(04:00 PM).
1. Date of Birth Certificate.
2. MBBS Degree and MCI Registration Certificate (in case of Medical candidates)/ Post-graduation Degree in the concerned discipline from a University duly recognized by University Grants Commission in case of Non-Medical candidates.
Applicants are required to report at the Rally Centre: 105 Infantry Battalion (TA) RAJRIF, Delhi.
