Applications through online mode are invited from the eligible applicants who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and possessing the prescribe Academic /Professional qualification and age for the tenure post of Senior Residents /Demonstrators in the disciplines as enumerated at Table “A”. “Those candidates who are not in-service shall be engaged under S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated. 27-11-2020 (Academic Arrangement basis) and vide Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 Dated. 20-06-2024,

whereas application forms of the in-service eligible candidates shall be entertained only after
fulfillment of all pre-requisites, in accordance with the relevant rules, as envisaged in the J&K Civil Service Rules 1979 and production of NOC from the parent department as envisaged in the Circular No. 03-HME of 2019 Dated. 27.05.2019.

The selected candidates shall be engaged initially for a  period of one year which is extendable upto maximum of three years, subject to better performance of the candidates to be certified by the concerned HODs after completion of each year of their engagement:

a) Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility conditions

b) Link for filling up online application form for the above position shall be available on the official website of Government Medical College, Srinagar i.e. https://www.gmcs.ac.in/ w.e.f.
10.04.2026 10:00AM onwards to 24.04.2026 upto 4:00PM. No other means/mode of
application shall be accepted.

c) Candidates are required to sign up before filling in the application form.

d) After logging into the account, candidates are required to fill in all the requisite fields of One Time Registration (OTR) i.e. personal information, contact information & educational
Qualifications, service details and uploading documents etc.

e) Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of original certificates/ affidavit(s).
Photocopies of certificate/affidavit(s) uploaded shall not be entertained.

Size Certificate/affidavit must be less than or equal to 1024KB in PDF format only.

The candidates shall have to submit their application forms accompanied with the selfattested copies of the following documents: –
a. MBBS marks sheet of all phases and qualification certificate.

b. MD/MS/DNB/MCh./DM qualification/degree certificate of the respective specialty in respect of medical candidates.

c. M.Sc Medical Biochemistry qualification/degree certificate in the case of non-medical candidates.

d. Ph.D Medical Biochemistry qualification/degree/Marks certificate in the case of non-medical candidates.

e. Internship certificate.

f. Date of Birth Certificate.

g. NMC/Jammu and Kashmir Medical Council Registration Certificate.

h. Domicile Certificate.

i. No Objection Certificate (for In-Service candidates only)

j. Experience certificate (only for those candidates who have already done Registrarship /Senior Residency/Demonstratorship/Tutor)
