Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates, (Not in Service/Non-PSC), of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for engagement against the following Faculty posts on academic arrangement basis under S.0. 364 of 2020 Dated. 27-1 1-2020, initially for a period of one year extendable up-to a maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection/promotion is made on regular basis in accordance with rules of recruitment governing the respective posts, by the PSC/DPC whichever is earlier.
The eligibility conditions/criteria for selection of the suitable candidates shall be as under:-

The candidates are advised to enclose the attested true copies of the following documents with their application forms which should reach in the Office of the undersigned by or before 30th August, 2024 up-to 04:00PM
01. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation Qualification Certificate).
02. Domicile Certificate of UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
03. MBBS Degree along-with year wise marks cards and NMC/State Medical Council Registration Certificate.
04. Post Graduation Qualification and NMC/State Medical Council Registration Certificate thereof.
05. Teaching experience certificate as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023.
06. Research Publications as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023.
07. Proof of participation with oral presentation as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023.
08. Proof of participation with poster presentation of papers credit as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023.
09. Proof for writing a book or chapter as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023.
10. Proof of Gold Medal for overall 1* Position in MBBS.
11. Proof of having secured Distinction in any subject in MBBS (for the post of Assistant Professors only).
12. Higher Qualification Certificate (DM/MCH/DNB/Ph.D) Super Specialty)
Terms & Conditions:-
1) The maximum age of the applicant at the time of submission of application must not be or more than (67) years.
2) The selected candidates shall have to enter into an agreement that they will not leave the Department before the completion of one
year’s contract. Abandoning/terminating of the arrangement as case may be will require one month’s prior notice on either side, failing which me salary shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall be remain in deposit with the Department and the
3) In case of misconduct, Indiscipline, unsatisfactory performance or any action detrimental to the Interest of Institute, the engagement of the candidate shall be terminated without prior notice.
4) No application of the in-service candidate shall be entertained by virtue of the existence of S.0. 364.
5) The applications of those candidates shall be rejected who fail to attach any requisite requirements/documents/marks sheets with
their application formats.
6) In case any post of the aforesaid categories gets filled up on regular basis during the intervening period from the date of issuance of
notification to the date of selection, such post(s) shall be deemed to have been withdrawn/deleted from the notification and the final
selection shall be made as per availability of posts at the time of final selection.
7) The selection committee reserves the right not to fill-up any posts in case Administrative exigency so demands.
8) The candidate engaged on academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated. 27-11-2020 shall be deemed to have been
relieved/disengaged in case of permanent regular faculty member recommended by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service
Commission through direct recruitment or promotion joins on the same post.
