ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE

Applications on prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Senior Residents (SRs) in various disciplines at Government Medical College, Srinagar.

The selected candidates shall be engaged initially for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory performance and conduct, as per rules in vogue.

Eligibility Criteria : 

Candidates must possess MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Must have Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty from an institution duly recognized by NMC.

Candidates should be registered with J&K Medical Council / NMC.

Age Limit :

Maximum age limit shall be as per Government rules applicable at the time of submission of application.

Remuneration :

Salary and allowances shall be paid as per Government norms applicable to Senior Residents.

Selection Procedure :

Selection shall be made on the basis of merit and interview, as decided by the competent authority.

How to Apply :

Interested candidates must submit their applications along with self-attested copies of relevant documents to the office of the undersigned within the stipulated time.

Important Instructions :

Incomplete applications or those received after the due date shall not be entertained.

The competent authority reserves the right to increase/decrease vacancies or cancel the advertisement without prior notice.

DISCIPLINES & ELIGIBILITY :

The engagement of Senior Residents shall be made in the following disciplines as per requirement of Government Medical College, Srinagar.

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed eligibility conditions before applying for the post.

Applicants must possess the required Post Graduate qualification in the concerned specialty on or before the last date of submission of application form.

Candidates who are already working as Senior Residents in any Government Medical College shall not be eligible to apply if they have completed three years of tenure.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED :

The applicants are required to submit self-attested copies of the following documents along with the application form:

MBBS Degree Certificate

Post Graduate Degree / Diploma Certificate

Internship Completion Certificate

Date of Birth Certificate

Registration Certificate from J&K Medical Council / NMC

Attempt Certificate

Experience Certificate, if any

Category Certificate (if applicable)

Original documents shall be produced at the time of interview.

TERMS & CONDITIONS :

The engagement of Senior Residents shall be purely temporary and shall not confer any right for regular appointment.

The services of Senior Residents can be terminated at any time without prior notice if the performance is found unsatisfactory.

The candidates shall be governed by the rules and regulations in force from time to time.

No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview.

APPLICATION PROCESS :

The application form duly filled in all respects must reach the office of the undersigned on or before the last date mentioned in the advertisement.

Applications received after the due date or found incomplete shall be rejected outright.

The selection list shall be notified on the official notice board of Government Medical College, Srinagar.

IMPORTANT NOTES :

The number of posts advertised is tentative and may increase or decrease without prior notice.

The competent authority reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the advertisement at any stage.

Canvassing in any form shall render the candidate disqualified.
