Applications through online mode are invited from the eligible applicants who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and possessing the prescribed Academic/Professional qualification and age for the tenure post of Senior Residents/Tutors in the disciplines as enumerated at Table “A”.

“Those candidates who are not in-service shall be engaged under S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated. 27-11-2020 (Academic Arrangement basis), whereas application forms of the in-service eligible candidates shall be entertained only after fulfillment of all pre requisites, in accordance with the relevant rules, as envisaged in the J&K Civil Service Rules 1979 and production of NOC from the parent department as envisaged in the Circular No. 03-HME Of 2019 Dated. 27.05.2019. The selected candidates shall be engaged initially for a period of one year which is extendable upto maximum of three years, however, further extension shall be granted subject to better performance of the candidates to be certified by the Concerned HODS after Completion of each year of their engagement: –

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES : –

a) Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility Conditions prescribed for the post before filling in the online application form.

b) Link for filing up online application form for the above position shall be available on the official website of Government Medical College, Srinagar i.e. https://www.gmcs.ac.in/ W.e.f. 14.05.2025 from 10:00AM onwards to 24.05.2025 upto 12:00 midnight. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.

C) Candidates are required to sign up before filling in the application form.

d) After logging into the account, candidates are required to fill in all the requisite fields of One Time Registration (0TR) i-e. personals information, contact information & educational Qualifications, service details and uploading documents etc

e) Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of original certificates/ affidavit(s). Photocopies of certificates/affidavit(S) uploaded shall not be entertained. Size of certificates/affidavit(S) must be less than or equal to 1024KB in PDF format only.

f) The candidate shall also be required to upload images of recent photograph, signature and thumb impression. size of photograph (passport size) and signature/Thumb must be less than or equal to 700KB in *jpeg or *jpg only.

g) The candidate must write his/her name, parentage and date of birth strictly as per the matriculation certificate.

h) Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the online application portal on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

i) Applicants are advised to fill all the fields of the online application form with due diligence and after carefully reading the terms and Conditions given in the advertisement notification, request for change/correction in any particulars in the application form, once submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances

j) Applications with blurred/illegible photograph/signature will be rejected summarily.

k) In case of fake/fabricated application/registration by misusing any dignitaries name/ photo, such candidate(s)/ shall be held responsible for the same and liable for suitable legal action under cyber/ IT Act/relevant rules
