Applications on prescribed Performa are invited from the permanent residents of UT of Jammu and Kashmir possessing the prescribed academic/Technical qualification and age for the engagement as “Guest Instructor” at Govt. I.T.I Mendhar for the academic session 2025–2027. The applications complete in all respects along with the documents detailed hereinafter should reach the office of Superintendent Govt. I.T.I Mendhar before or on 23-03-2026. In case it is declared a public holiday, the last date for the receipt of application forms shall be the following working day.

Prescribed Qualification:

B.Voc/Degree in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized Engineering College/University with one-year experience in the relevant field.

OR

03 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AICTE/recognized board of technical education or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT with two years’ experience in the relevant field.

OR

NTC/NAC passed in the trade of “Electrician” with three years’ experience in the relevant field.

Essential Qualification: Relevant Regular / RPL variants of National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) under DGT.

CERTIFICATES TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION FORM

Attested photocopies of the following certificates need to be attached with the application form:

Date of Birth Certificate.

Domicile Certificate.

Educational / Technical / Higher Qualification certificates prescribed for the post.

Experience Certificate of relevant field (if any).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Selection of the candidates for the engagement as Guest Faculty shall be made as per the guidelines of Skill Development Department J&K.

This temporary engagement of the selected candidates shall not entitle him/her for his/her regular appointment. The Department reserves the right to terminate the candidate at any time if his/her performance is not satisfactory.

Selected candidate shall have to sign an agreement on a specific format.
