Eligibility Criteria of Research Scientist and Associate Posts:

Educational Qualifications:
For Research Scientist: Ph.D. in CSE/IT/EE/EC disciplines. M.Tech or B.Tech in related fields with at least 60% marks.
For Research Associate: M.Tech or B.Tech in CSE/IT/EE/EC disciplines with at least 60% marks.

Age Limit :
The upper age limit is 35 years as on the date of application. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/women/physically challenged candidates.

Other Requirements :

For Research Scientist : Strong foundation in Linux and C programming, expertise in cybersecurity domains like network, software, and hardware security. Preference given to candidates from NIRF Top 100 institutes and those with relevant publications or project experience.

For Research Associate : Experience in communication security or penetration testing is desirable.

Application Process : 
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to submit their filled-in application form along with scanned certificates via the online portal at apply.iitjammu.ac.in by 16th June 2025.

 

Selection Process:
Selection will be done on the basis of shortlisting as per eligibility and project requirements. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and called for an interview. The interview may be conducted online or offline. Original documents must be presented during the interview.
