Potential candidates are invited to a walk-in interview for the Research Assistant position on the project titled “Generalized Mathematical Models for Decision Making Problems using Fuzzy Algorithm” sanctioned by J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir, in favour of Dr. Zahid Gulzar Khaki (PI), Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Dr. Tanveer Ahmad Tarray (Co-PI), Assistant Professor,
Department of Mathematical Sciences and Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Ganie (Co-PI), Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Islamic University of Science and Technology. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Name of the Position :- Research Assistant (RA)

Monthly emoluments :- Rs. 20,000/ month (Consolidated)

Eligibility

Essential qualification : B.Tech/ M.Tech E&C Engineering or M.Sc Mathematics / Statistics with 60% marks & above Desirable qualification: Candidates having expertise in handling mathematical models using any statistical software.

The interview is scheduled to start at 09:30 AM on July 22, 2024, in the Office Chamber of the Dean, School of Engineering and Technology. Candidates are required to bring the completed form attached to the advertisement notice and must have the original copies of all relevant documents with them at the interview.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :

i. The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and the candidates shall not claim for regular appointments in the university.

ii. The University reserves the right to terminate the contract of non-performing candidates at any time without prior notice.

iii. Eligible candidates must bring all the testimonials/certificates (in original and one attested copy) at the time of interview.

iv. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates appearing for the interview.

v. Candidates will have to produce original documents relating to their qualification, experience etc at the time of appearing in the interview.

vi. The University reserves the right to defer/not to filling up of post advertised here in above, without assigning any reason thereof.

vii. In case candidate wants to withdraw, he/she must serve one-month notice period (or one-month salary).

viii. The terms and conditions governing the service shall be as per the rules & regulations of university and/or funding agency (wherever applicable) with amendments from time to time.
