Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Research Assistant (RA) under the project titled “Insulation of concrete house in Kashmir: A thermoeconomic analysis.” sanctioned by J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir, in favour of Dr. Mahvash Afzal (PI), Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Islamic University of Science and Technology. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Name of the Position : Research Assistant (RA)
Monthly emoluments : Rs. 20,000/ month (Consolidated)
Eligibility :
Essential qualification: B.Tech/ M.Tech Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent and preference will be given to a candidate possessing GATE / Master’s qualification or expertise in Thermal Science

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :
i. The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and the candidates shall not claim for regular appointments in the university.
ii. The University reserves the right to terminate the contract of non-performing candidates at any time without prior notice.
iii. Eligible candidates must bring all the testimonials/certificates (in original and one attested copy) at the time of interview.
iv. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates appearing for the interview.
v. Candidates will have to produce original documents relating to their qualification, experience etc. at the time of appearing in the interview.
