temporary posts in DBT (GOI) funded project entitled “Impact of Genotypic and phenotypic expression of SLCO1B1 gene on Methotrexate dosage in the outcome of acute lymphoblastic leukemia” purely on temporary basis initially for a period of 6 months.

Job Recruitment in University of Kashmir

Qualification Required :

Ph. D in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology, or related field or M.Sc. in above fields with 5 years relevant experience with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a UGC recognized University.

Desirable: The candidate should possess strong expertise in relevant field particularly in Cell lines and molecular biology techniques like Real-time PCR, Western blot, Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Bioinformatics.

The candidate should have experience in handling at least one research project as a PI.

Candidate should have a minimum of three years of postdoctoral research experience in the relevant field and proven record of scientific publications in SCI journals

Terms and conditions :

1. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason.

2. The post will be filled up only on temporary basis

3. Since the post is purely temporary, the candidates selected will have no claim for regular appointments under the above project or continuation of his/her services in any other project. Also the candidate cannot claim for any regular appointment at this institute after termination of the project.

4. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the interview call and selection.

5. Qualification and experience should be from Govt./Govt. recognized institutes

6. The posts can be extended to the duration of project depending upon the performance of the selected candidates .
