Engagement of Contractual Teacher (Assistant Professor) English Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement of one Contractual Teacher (Assistant Professor) English for teaching UG/PG Students in the Faculty of Agriculture/Faculty of
Horticulture/Forestry & Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, SKUAST-J, Chatha. Interested candidates may submit the applications to The Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-J, Chatha, Jammu J&K – 180009 on the prescribed format attached as annexure “A” to this advertisement notice by or before 19/07/2024 upto 4.00 P.M through Registered / Speed Post with a fee of Rs. 1000/- in shape of Demand Draft in favour of Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-Jammu payable at Jammu. Application form can be downloaded from the website of SKUAST-Jammu i.e.https://www.skuast.org.

The Engagement of Contractual Teacher (Assistant Professor) English shall be purely on academic arrangement basis (academic session 2024-25) initially for a period of one semester and extendable for one more (next) semester on need basis. The criteria for engagement of Contractual Teacher (Assistant Professor) English and remuneration to be paid shall be strictly as per the SKUAST-J
guidelines issued vide Notification No. 09 (Secy.) of 2017 dated 11/05/2017 and Notification No. 06 (Secy.) of 2021 dated 05/05/2021

Name of the Post : Assistant Professor (English)

Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in English with high second class (55% marks)

Consolidated Emoluments :-

i.) Rs. 45000/- per month in case of PhD

ii.) Rs. 35000/- per month in case of Master’s Degree

The duly completed application form on the prescribed format must be accompanied with self attested copies of the following certificates/documents.

1. Academic Qualification Certificate/Marks Certificate.
2. Documents in support of API score points.
3. Character Certificate.
4. Experience certificate, if any.
5. In case of age bar, Govt. Recruitment rules shall be followed.
