Job Recruitment in SKUAST Kashmir
The eligible candidates are invited for the walk-in-interview on Ist December,2025 at the Division of Fruit Science, SKUAST-Kashmir for the temporary position of Project Associate-II and Scientific Administrative Assistant under the project titled “Demonstration of site-specific Apple orchard systems vis-à-vis Nursery development under Himalayan agro-ecological conditions of Kashmir” funded by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology, GOI purely on contractual basis (co-terminus with the project).
The candidates who fulfil the requisite qualification as indicated below should bring their brief biodata (neatly typed), original documents, attested photocopies of all qualifications, experience certificates, and two passport-size photographs for verification and
submission on the day of the interview.

M.Sc Horticulture/Agriculture.
Desirable Qualification Research Experience in Temperate fruit crops especially Apple.

Name of the Post : Scientific Administrative Assistant

B.Sc Horticulture/Agriculture
Desirable Qualification
Research Experience in Temperate fruit crops especially Apple.
Note :
Candidates should fill the application form on the day of interview in the prescribed format available at www.skuastkashmir.ac.in along with detailed biodata and attested copies of relevant documents/experience/publications.
The age limit for the position of Project Associate-II is 21 to 45 years. Age relaxation shall be admissible as per Government of India/ICAR guidelines.
The selected candidate will be paid emoluments as per the norms of DBT/GOI/ICAR.
A valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required from the employer/University, if already engaged in any organization.
The engagement shall be purely on a need basis (contractual) and may be terminated at any time if the services are
no longer required.
The engagement shall not confer any claim for regular appointment in the University
No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview
