Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one position (01) of Project Assistant in the project sanctioned by the JK Science Technology & Innovation Council (JKSTIC).
The position is upto 31st January 2025 (extendable as per norms of the project).
Name of the project : “Development of supported metal organic frameworks for removal of pollutants from waste water; and applications in organic synthesis”
Duration of the project : Upto 31st January 2025
Qualification Essential :- Masters in chemistry having at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks.
Emoluments of the Project Assistant : Rs. 15,000/- per month
Important Instructions :
1. ELIGIBILITY : Masters in chemistry with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized technical institute/ University as a full time program.
2. Application should be accompanied by the photocopies of the qualification /experience certificates.
3. INTERVIEW : Eligible candidates will be informed about the date and venue of interview telephonically/through email. All applicants are required to bring their original documents on the date of interview.
No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview. No separate interview letters will be issued. The rules and regulations laid by JK Science Technology & Innovation Council (JKSTIC) will be adhered to.
4. Last date of submission of application : 10 days from the date of publishing this advertisement in the newspaper.

General Terms and Conditions :
1. The employment will be contractual and will be renewed after one year till the duration of the project.
2. Renewal will be subject to performance appraisal of the candidate by the PI. The decision of the PI will be final in this regard.
3. The candidate shall have to produce the original documents relating to their age, qualifications, experience, and other claims what so ever before joining.
4. Photocopies of all documents submitted by the candidate should be self attested.
5. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee call for the interview and/or selection.
6. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
7. The provision of employment (contractual) to the candidate for this project does not create any liability, explicit or implicit, on the university.
