Job Recruitment in University of Jammu
Applications are invited on the prescribed Application Form for the temporary positions of Young Professionals (YPs) to be engaged on contract basis in the Centre for IT Enabled Services and Management, University of Jammu for a period of 1 year extendable by two years (maximum up-to three years) subject to satisfactory performance that shall be appraised every year.
The Young Professionals (YPs) are required in the following areas :

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
1. The said engagement shall initially be for a period of one year extendable by two more years (maximum up- to three years)
subject to satisfactory performance that shall be appraised every year by the Director, CITES&M.
2. The positions are subject to periodic evaluation of the performance of the incumbent and if, on such evaluation the performance is not found to be satisfactory, the contract will be terminated with one-month notice.
3. The appointment will be on full-time basis and the appointee will not be permitted to take up any other assignment during
the period of contract. The contract may be terminated by either party by giving one-month advance notice in writing.
4. The incumbent will not be considered to be a permanent employee of the Centre and conferment of this contract will not imply
any assurance or guarantee for regular employment in the Centre. The incumbent shall not claim for regularization or absorption in the Centre. However, the incumbent may apply for the advertised posts subject to meeting the eligibility criteria for the post and as per institutional policy.
5. All educational, professional and technical qualifications should be from a recognized Board/ University.
6. Persons working in Govt. or Public Sector should apply through proper channel or produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of selection process/interview.
7. Vacancy shown above is indicative only and the number may increase or decrease as per the requirement and at the
discretion of the Competent Authority.
8. Only those candidates should apply for these posts who fulfil the eligibility criteria on or before the last date of submission of application. Further, the prescribed qualifications and experience are the minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possessing them will not entitle him/her for being called for the selection process/interview. The University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of qualification and / or experience/or any other screening criteria higher than the minimum prescribed.
9. Correspondence with the applicants for intimation of interview etc will be done by email and/or by uploading the notice on University website. No correspondence will be made with applicants who are not shortlisted/called for interview etc. The University shall, however, not be responsible for any postal delay/lapse.
10. The list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the University website, (www.jammuuniversity.ac.in). As such, the applicants are advised to keep checking the website for information and other updates.
