Principal: At least 03 years of regular service in KVS in the grade (Masters Degree) as per NCTE

Vice-Principal: PRT/TGT/Trained Graduate Teachers, Eligibility Criteria: Masters in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan with at least 05 years regular service from KVS in the grade (Masters Degree) as per NCTE and in good 65% marks too in of PGT Conducted

 

PGT (Hindi):

Four years Integrated degree course from NCTE recognized Institution/University in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B.Ed. component OR

Master Degree from a recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in concerned subject and B.Ed OR

Three years integrated B.Ed. –M.Ed from NCTE recognized Institution / University with at least 50% marks

 

PGT (English):

From amongst TGTs who have rendered at least 03 years of regular service in the grade Essential Educational Qualification: Four years Integrated degree course from NCTE recognized Institution/university, in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B.Ed. component OR

Master Degree from a recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in English and B.Ed Degree from NCTE recognized Institution / University with at least 50% marks OR

Master Degree from a recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Maths or any specialization in Maths and Provided candidate has studied Maths subject at Graduation level also AND

Head Master: Primary Teachers who have rendered at least Five years of regular service. Essential Educational Qualification: Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-I conducted by the Govt. of India

 

Finance Officer :

Eligibility Criteria: 01 year’s regular service as Section Officer with Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Recognized University OR

04 years’ regular service in the grade as Assistant Section Officer with the following qualification: Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Economics or ICWA (inter) or IDMA (inter) or MBA (Finance) with at least 02 years of regular service

Section Officer: 03 years regular service in the grade as Asst. Section Officer/Steno Grade-II/UDC Senior Scale

Assistant Section Officer: 03 years regular service in the grade in KVS

Senior Secretariat Assistant: 03 years regular service in the grade in KVS

Junior Secretariat Assistant: Sub-staff with atleast 03 years’ regular service in KVS

Desirable Experience :

For the post of Head Master and Trained Graduate Teachers, candidates should possess CTET Paper I in case of PRTs applying for Head Master and Paper II in case of PRTs applying for TGTs

There will be 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates as per existing KVS guidelines

They need to pass their qualifying exam in first attempt or in two attempts without any break in attempt

 

Salary/Stipend : 

Salary will be as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix

Principal, Vice-Principal, PGTs, TGTs, and other posts will receive salary as per their respective pay levels

Additional allowances like HRA, DA, and other applicable allowances will be provided as per government norms

Specific salary details are not mentioned in the recruitment notification

 

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

  • For filling posts through LDE/LDCE: Cut-off date will be 01.01.2026 for determining age, length of service and Educational qualification
  • Age relaxation: Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms
  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years age relaxation
  • OBC candidates: 3 years age relaxation
  • PwBD candidates: Age relaxation as per government rules
  • Upper age limit relaxation is available for internal candidates as per service rules

Selection Process :

The LDE/LDCE will be conducted on the Centers tentatively located in the cities of Regional Offices of KVS

It is mandatory that the Applicants hold the requisite required Degree/ professional degree qualification at the time of examination

The examination will be conducted in two parts:

Tier-I: Subject Knowledge Examination (Combination of Pen-Paper and OMR Based) – 40 marks duration 2½ hours

Tier-II: Personal Interview/Screening Test – 60 marks

Being a promotional post, minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I/Interview/Personal Interview/Screening Test for the application shall be 35% for GEN/OBC/EWS and 33% for SC/ST and PwBD applicants

In the Unreserved category whereas 35% for SC/ST and PwBD applicants

The marks secured in the online written examination shall be the basis of seniority cum qualifying the written examination (Tier-I)

Such candidates will be called for interview on the basis of qualifying marks scored in the written examination (Tier-I)

The Selection for Interview, Judgement (availability) will also be on the basis of seniority cum qualifying the written examination (Tier-II) in the ratio of 1:4 OR 1:2

For Finance Officer and Section Officer selection will be on the basis of seniority cum qualifying marks scored in the written examination (Tier-II) as per the vacancies under respective category

For the post of ASST and JSA, the selection will be on the basis of marks scored in the written examination (Tier-I) for Finance Officer and Section Officer

CTET qualification is mandatory for TGT posts and CTET Paper I for Head Master posts

Candidates possessing the essential qualification/service as mentioned will only be eligible to be selected through LDE/LDCE

Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared on basis of marks obtained in written examination and Personal Interview/Screening Test of 100 marks for the post of Finance Officer and Section Officer. However, there will be no interview for the post of Finance Officer and Assistant Section Officer, Senior Secretariat Assistant and Junior Secretariat Assistant

 

General Information/Instructions :

  • The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will be conducting Limited Departmental Examination (LDE)/ Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) for filling up the Teaching and Non-Teaching Posts from amongst eligible teachers/Officials of KVS
  • Candidates possessing the essential qualification/service as mentioned will only be eligible to be selected through LDE/LDCE
  • Candidates can apply for only one post even if they are eligible for more than one post
  • Utmost caution is to be taken by the Applicants in filling the online application form and information given by him/her should be relevant and correct as per service records. In case of any wrong data/information entered by the candidate as inaccurate/wrong information which may lead to disqualification of the candidate
  • No change in the application will be permitted once application is filled
  • The LDE/LDCE will be conducted on the Centers tentatively located in the cities of Regional Offices of KVS
  • The Controlling Officers will be responsible for verifying the correctness of the information furnished in application form by the applicants
  • The Controlling Officer will verify the grading of APAR on the basis of APAR if available with them on his Laptop/PC or through the schedule by relevant years
  • If the applicant fails to furnish Service Verification Certificate, the applicant will not be considered for evaluation
  • In the event of selection of the Applicant through the LDE/LDCE, the credentials of the applicant will be verified
  • Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) has been ensured in accordance with the provisions of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016
  • Persons with disability of 40% or more, if so desires, will have to bring their own scribe to write the examination. The scribe must be from a lower academic qualification than the candidate
  • PwBD candidates shall be permitted 20 additional minutes per hour of examination time or minimum of one hour for examination of three hours duration
  • Candidates studying in the post through LDE cannot apply for vacancies under LDE/LDCE
  • No change will be allowed after final submission of application
  • After final submission, the applicable fees (if any) as well as other documents will be kept in record with signature of the applicant & certifying officer
  • All candidates who are undergoing training under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) subjects are also eligible to apply
  • Merit list will be uploaded on KVS website. The names of applicants will be provided on their respective Regional Office KVS website
  • Disciplinary action shall be initiated against any employee by KVS for misuse of position or by abusing the Sangathan

  • Fill in all required details accurately including personal information, educational qualifications, and service details
  • Upload scanned copies of required documents:
    • Recent passport-size photograph
    • Signature
    • Educational certificates
    • Service certificates
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
    • PwBD certificate (if applicable)
  • The Controlling Officer will create the list of the Portal and credentials from CBSE Help Desk provided to the eligible employee and register all the employees applying for LDE through the portal
  • The applicant will use the Employee code and register all the respective employee ID to login to the portal
  • After registration of the applicant by the Controlling Officer, the link will be mailed to the applicant for filing the application
  • Using the link generated by Controlling Officer, the applicant will fill the ONLINE application and submit
  • After successful online submission, take a printout of the application form
  • Get the printout verified by the Controlling Officer with signature and stamp
  • The hardcopy verification by the Controlling Officer should be completed by 09.01.2026
  • Keep the verified hard copy safely for future reference
  • Important: No change will be allowed after final submission of application
  • Candidates should retain the registration number/application number for future correspondence
