Deployment of Young Graduates/ Youths of Jammu & Kashmir as Swachhagrahi during Amarnath Yatra Program 2022 in Jammu & Kashmir under TUILP-The Urban Learning Internship Program
Municipal Committee Hiranagar, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, under the TULIP-The Urban Learning Internship Program of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) intends to deploy Five (05) nos. of young fresh graduates/Youths of Jammu & Kashmir to work with ULB along the route of Amarnath Yatra as Swchhatagrahi to ensure overall cleanness and Sanitation along the Yatra
Route during Amarnath Yatra 2022 for the period of 60 days. TULIP interns to be deployed would get learning platform for skill enhancement and hand on exposure to network and work with the ULB in managing sanitation and cleanliness related services to be provided to the Amarnath Yatra Pilgrims.
Swachhagrahis will be positioned at different locations in the ULB such as entry locations, railway station, Yatri camps, langar points and yatra Route locations.
Interested young graduates may register and submit their application on TULIP PORTAL on or before the deadline date 02.06.2022.
Role and Responsibilities of the Swachhagrahis/ Tulip Interns to be deployed shall be as below:
Coordination for maintaining cleanness and sanitation along the Yatra Route by monitoring the work of sanitation staff including ICT portal.
Coordination for completion of all monitoring formats and submission the reports to the concerned nodal officer
Coordination and ensuring that solid waste collection from designated spots is done 3 times a day on daily basis
Coordination for cleaning of toilets is done regularly by the cleaners and all sludge is transported and disposed -off at designated sites, so that all toilets are ready for
use by all Pilgrims.
Coordination and monitoring of Langars: shall ensure that the langars halls are following the prescribed guidelines, no single use plastic is being used by the
langars, the waste generated in langars is segregated at source by the langar organizers, no waste is littered outside, and the waste is collected and disposed-off
regularly
Coordination with ULBs waste collection staff to ensure that dry waste collected in blue dustbin will be handled properly and further handed over to registered ragpickers for further segregation of dry waste in different streams.
Coordination with ULBs sanitation staff and to ensure that sanitation staff available at pandals & langars
Coordination for proper maintenance of daily attendance register and monitor that all sanitation staff has proper uniform / personal protective gears (PPE)
Perks:
Tulip Interns/ Swachhagrahis will get Internship Certificate on completion of the Program and shall be paid monthly stipend of Rs. 18000/-
Eligibility Criteria for Selection
Open only to Indian citizens
PG/Diploma/Post diploma/graduates
Not more than 36 months should have passed from the date of declaration of final year results of graduation to the date from which the internship is sought
Duration of Engagement: 8 weeks (2 months)
