Selection Process :
Stage 1: Shortlisting based on valid GATE 2025 Score in Civil Engineering discipline
Stage 2: Interaction/Interview (if called by NHAI)
Note: NHAI may adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates for interview if applications are large
Tie-Breaking: In case of same rank, merit determined by date of birth (earlier born placed higher), then by alphabetical order of names

Spinal Deformity (SD) and Spinal Injury (SI) without neurological/limb dysfunction
Special Learning Disability (SLD) / Mental Illness (MI)
Multiple Disability (MD) involving above categories
Physical Requirements: Sitting, Standing, Walking, Bending, Jumping, Climbing, Manipulation by Fingers, Reading & Writing, Seeing, Communication
Disability Percentage: Not less than 40% (Certificate required from Competent Authority)
Important Certificate Requirements
OBC Certificate: Must be issued during FY 2025-2026 (on or after 01.04.2025) with Non-Creamy Layer clause
EWS Certificate: Based on income for FY 2024-2025, issued on or after 01.04.2025
Degree Certificate: Degree certificate or provisional degree certificate clearly indicating passing of Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory. Marksheets alone will not suffice.
GATE 2025 Score Card: Valid GATE 2025 score in Civil Engineering discipline
