Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification :
For Trade Apprenticeship : Candidates must have passed the ITI examination in the relevant trade and be NCVT/SCVT certified with an NTC/PNTC.
For Graduate Apprenticeship:
Pharmacy: B.Pharm
Commerce: B.Com
Computer Science: B.Sc. (Computer Science)
Computer Application: B.C.A.
Business Administration: B.B.A.
Geology: B.Sc. (Geology)
Chemistry: B.Sc. (Chemistry)
Nursing: B.Sc. (Nursing)
Micro Biology: B.Sc. (Micro Biology)
Important Note :
Candidates applying for Graduate Apprenticeships must have passed their qualifying degree in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.
Age Limit
Candidates must have completed 18 years of age as of April 1, 2025. This means your date of birth must be on or before April 1, 2007.
Salary and Stipend Details :
This is an apprenticeship, which is a form of training, so you receive a monthly stipend instead of a full salary. This stipend is financial support while you learn valuable skills. For the NLC Apprenticeship, the stipend is quite good.
For Trade Apprentices (ITI passed), the monthly stipend is ₹10,019. For Graduate Apprentices with a B.Pharm degree, the stipend is ₹15,028 per month. For all other Graduate Apprentices (B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BBA), the monthly stipend is ₹12,524.

Selection Process :
The selection process for the NLC Apprenticeship is straightforward and based on merit. There is no written exam or interview.
Certificate Verification :
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in their qualifying ITI or Degree examinations. The selection will be purely merit-based. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for Certificate Verification. The list of candidates selected for verification will be published on the official NLC India website tentatively on November 10, 2025. It is crucial that all the information you provide in your application matches your original documents.

Application Steps:
Visit the official NLC India website. (link provided below)
Go to the “CAREERS” section on the homepage.
Under ‘Trainees & Apprentices’, find the link for Advt. No. L&DC/03A/2025 and click on it.
Click on the “Apply Online” link for Trade / Non-Engineering apprentices.
Fill out the online registration form with your correct details between October 6, 2025 (10:00 AM) and October 21, 2025 (5:00 PM).
After submitting the form, take a printout of your application.
Sign the printed application form. Attach self-attested copies of all the required documents.
Send the signed application form along with the documents by post or submit it in the collection box at the following address before October 27, 2025 (5:00 PM).
