Applications are invited for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Physics, Central University of Kashmir, Tulmulla Ganderbal.
Position : 01 Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Title of Project : Systematic Study of Low Energy Break-up Fusion Reactions.
Funding agency : Inter University Accelerator Center (IUAC), New Delhi.
Tenure of Project : 2 Years
Tenure of Assignment : 2 Years (Initially appointed for Six Months and may be extended upto the completion of the project based on performance)
Job Description : To carry out research work related to the project.
Monthly Fellowship : As per the Guidelines of funding agency.
Essential Qualification : Masterās Degree in Physics from a recognized University/ Institution with 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Relaxation in marks % is given as per norms governed by funding agency/ University.
Desirable : Candidates with valid NET or Valid GATE score.
Terms : The services of the selected candidate will be as per IUAC guidelines. The selected candidates should not draw fellowship from any other source/project.
Upper Age limit : 28 years as on date of interview, age relaxation to entitled categories shall be as per rules.
The Desirable candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria for admission to Ph.D may also register for Ph.D Position.
The interested candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria may apply upto 24-12-2024.

The eligible candidates shall be called for an interview before selection committee constituted by competent authority, as per the guidelines prescribed by the University/ Funding agency. No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.
The selected Candidate will be required to join the project as early as possible.
