Advertisement for recruitment of Sanganis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centres of POSHAN Project Thathri.

Approval has been accorded by Mission Directorate POSHAN, J&K vide letter No. MD/Poshan/47157-66 dated 24-12-2025 for filling up of various vacancies of Sanganis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centres of POSHAN Project Thathri as per details given below.

For POSHAN Project Thathri, the total vacancies are 09, comprising:

Sanganis (Anganwadi Workers): 04 posts

Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers): 05 posts

Applications in the prescribed proforma in Annexure “B” are invited from eligible female candidates for engagement as Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper on honorarium basis for the aforementioned posts of Anganwadi Centres.

Criteria for Selection of Sanganis (Anganwadi Workers) :

Women candidates in the age group of 18–37 years as on 01.01.2025 shall be eligible.

Candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.

Candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is situated. Name in the voter list of the ward shall be considered as proof of residence. In case the name appears along with parents, certificate of being unmarried issued by the concerned Tehsildar is required.

Minimum qualification for Anganwadi Worker shall be 10+2, maximum graduation.

If no 10+2 pass candidate is available in the ward, candidates from adjoining wards may be considered with prior approval of Mission Director, Mission Poshan.

Selection shall be purely on merit based on 10+2 marks only.

In case eligible candidate is available within the family of retiring AWW/AWH, such candidate shall qualify for additional two percent points.

In case of tie in merit, candidate with higher age shall be preferred.

Candidates with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered.

Academic qualification certificate with marks sheet (12th & Graduation)

Date of Birth certificate (Matric Diploma/Marks Card)

Domicile certificate

Latest certified copy of Panchayat/Ward voter list

Unmarried certificate from concerned Tehsildar (if unmarried)

Relieving order copy of retiring AWW/AWH (if applicable)

Affidavit duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate

Two passport size recent colour photographs

Original Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card or Voter ID Card)

Criteria for Selection of Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers)

Selection shall be restricted to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.

Women candidates aged 18–37 years as on 01.01.2025 shall be considered.

Candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.

Minimum qualification shall be Matriculation.

If no matriculate candidate is available, candidates not less than VIII standard may be considered.

Selection committee shall comprise CDPO, BDO and ZEO of the concerned project/block.

Preference shall be given to married women of the ward. In case none is available, unmarried candidates may be considered.

Selection shall be purely on merit based on 10th marks only.

Academic qualification certificate with marks sheet (10th)

Date of Birth certificate (Matric Diploma/Marks Card)

Domicile certificate

Latest certified copy of Panchayat/Ward voter list

All application forms on the prescribed proforma (Annexure-B), complete in all respects along with self-attested copies of required documents, should reach the office of the undersigned by registered post or by personal delivery during working hours against proper receipt.

Incomplete forms shall be rejected without clarification/notice and candidates shall have no right to claim candidature.

Note: No application form will be entertained after the expiry of last date.
