Advertisement for recruitment of Sahayika’s (Anganwadi Helper) in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Surankote.

The Application Forms on prescribed format (Annexure “A”) are invited from the eligible female candidates of the below mentioned wards of the Panchayats for engagement as Sahayika’s (Anganwadi Helper) in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan (ICDS) Project Surankote, purely on “Honorarium basis” in pursuance to the sanction accorded by Mission Director Poshan, J&K vide Order No: MD/Poshan/47224-33 Dated: 24-12-2025.

The applications along with required documents shall be deposited in the office of Child Development Project Officer Poshan Project Surankote within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement notification in leading newspapers against proper receipt.

As per the norms, the unit of selection of Sahayika’s (AWHs) shall be the Electoral ward of the concerned Panchayat.

Anganwadi Helpers : 

Criteria for Selection of Sahayika’s (Anganwadi Helpers) :

Women candidates in the age group of 18–37 years shall be considered for the post.

The candidate should be domicile of the UT of J&K.

The selection of Anganwadi Helper shall be restricted to the electoral Ward where Anganwadi Centre is located.

Minimum qualification for Sahayika’s (Anganwadi Helper) shall be Matriculation.

In case no Matriculate candidate is available in the Ward, candidate with qualification not less than VIII (8th) standard shall be considered.

The selection committee shall select the most destitute/needy married women of the Ward as Helper from amongst those who fulfil the qualification criteria and if all other things are equal, merit should be given the first and foremost preference. In case no married candidate is available, unmarried candidate may be considered and selection shall be done purely on the basis of marks obtained in 10th class.

Self-attested copies of Documents to be Attached with the Application Form :

Panch Ward certificate (present/continuous), Ward residence certificate issued by BDO concerned.

Domicile Certificate issued by Tehsildar concerned.

Academic qualification certificates with Marks Card of 10th.

Date of Birth Certificate/Diploma Matric.

Certified copy of the latest voter list as proof of residence (certified by the BDO concerned).

Unmarried Certificate by the concerned Tehsildar (in case of unmarried candidate).

Affidavit in the prescribed format given in “ANNEXURE B” duly attested by Judicial Magistrate/Tehsildar.

Self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs. 5/- affixed.

HOW TO APPLY :

The application forms complete in all respects as per the Performa given in Annexure “A” of this notice along with all the requisite documents as mentioned should be submitted in the Office of the Child Development Project Officer Surankote, Poonch by personal delivery during working hours against proper receipt. The incomplete forms shall be rejected without any clarification/notice and the candidates shall have no right to claim for candidature.

Date of commencement for submission of Application Forms : 06.01.2026

Last date for submission of Application Forms : 20.01.2026

No application forms shall be accepted after the last date i.e. : 20.01.2026

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION :

The shortlisted meritorious candidates shall be required to appear before the Document Verification Committee along with all the original documents whose copies have been attached with the application form within a week after the last date of receipt of application forms.
