Eligibility Conditions. Online applications are invited from MALE INDIAN CITIZENS possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the Post of Navik (General Duty) & Yantriks in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.
Educational Qualification.
(a) Navik (General Duty). Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
(b) Yantrik. Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Class 10th& Class 12th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) “AND” Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Note :-
(i) Candidates are to fill marks of all subjects as mentioned in their marksheet while filling the online application. Incorrect or incomplete filling of marks in the online application will lead to cancellation of candidature.
(ii) Candidates applying for post of Yantrik and not in possession of original diploma certificate prior Stage II recruitment process has to mandatorily bring and upload provisional certificate duly signed by College/University Head during conduct of Stage II recruitment. However, it is mandatory to bring Original Diploma certificate during conduct of Stage III. If, not in possession of Original documents at Stage III, then their candidature will be cancelled.
3. Age :-
Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years. Candidates should be born between 01 Mar 2003 to 28 Feb 2007 (both dates inclusive) applying for post of Navik (GD) and Yantrik.
Note : Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non creamy) candidates is applicable only if, posts are reserved for them.
