Advertisement for Block Anchor Person (Contractual) for Block Poonch
Nodal Cluster Level Federations (CLF) on behalf of other CLFs of block Poonch implementing Integrated Farming Clusters (IFCs) invite applications for the position of Block Anchor Person (BAP) to support IFC projects across the Block Poonch (covering all CLFs with IFCs).
● Tenure: Contractual – 1 year (extendable up to the project period (FY 2025-26 to 2027-28) based on performance)
● Honorarium (including TA): Rs 15,000 per month
Essential Qualification / Eligibility
1. Diploma/Degree OR Progressive Integrated Farming System (IFS) farmer in any of the following: Agriculture, Horticulture, Fishery, Animal Husbandry, Beekeeping, or related fields.
2. Preference will be given to local residents of the block who are well acquainted with local people, agriculture, and allied activities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
a. Coordinate with Producer Groups and stakeholders across CLFs in the block for effective cluster interventions.
b. Mobilize households and support adoption of improved, sustainable production practices.
c. Facilitate planning and execution of seasonal livelihood activities in all IFCs.
d. Organize capacity building, exposure visits, and trainings as per project needs.
e. Ensure convergence with line departments and technical agencies.
f. Assist in establishing forward and backward linkages for prioritized livelihoods.
g. Facilitate aggregation and marketing of cluster produce.
h. Maintain accurate records and documentation for IFC activities.
i. Submit timely reports to SRLM/Producer Enterprises/CLFs in prescribed formats.
Terms of Engagement
a) Position covers the entire Block Poonch and all CLFs with IFC projects.
b) Engagement is purely contractual for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and IFC outcomes.
c) Only shortlisted candidates meeting eligibility will be called for Examination &interview.
