Advertisement for the post of Research Assistant under the DST INSPIRE PROJECT (ENG 370) 2025
Applications are invited from motivated, innovative and eligible candidates for the position of Research Assistant (01) to work on the project titled as “Equivalencing and Controlling of Low Inertia Power Systems (ECLIPSE)” funded by Department of
Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
The selected candidate would work in the project for a period of two years initially and can be extended up to four years based on yearly performance.
Name of the Position : Research Assistant (RA)
Essential Qualifications :
B. Tech. and M. Tech. in Electrical Engineering or relevant field with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent

The filled application form (Performa attached with advertisement) along with CV and scanned copy of the testimonials should be mailed to the Principal Investigator and the hard copies to be submitted in the Office of Electrical Engineering Department, Block A, Institute of Technology, University of Kashmir, Zakura Campus

Note :
1. The selected candidate shall be encouraged to register for Ph.D. program. However, the candidate has to obtain admission as per the University guidelines.
2. The position is purely temporary. The appointment will be initially for two years and extendable up to four years based on the yearly performance.
3. At the time of joining, the selected candidate has to produce all relevant documents/testimonials in original for verification and a medical certificate of fitness from the medical officer of the University. Failing this, the University will offer the position to next candidate on the merit list prepared for this purpose.
4. The University reserves the right to withdraw the post at any time.
