Approval has been accorded vide letter No. MDP/Poshan/47262-69 dated 24-12-2025 for filling up various vacant posts of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) for Poshan Project Reasi as per details below.

Consequently, applications are invited as per prescribed format (Annexure A) from eligible candidates for engagement as Sangini (AWW) and Sahayika (AWH) in the Anganwadi Centres on honorarium basis of Rs. 5100 per month for AWW and Rs. 2550 per month for AWH respectively.

Eligibility Criteria for Selection of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers)

Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years as on 01-01-2026 shall be considered.
The candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.
The candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward where the AWC is situated.
Minimum qualification is 10+2 and maximum graduation.
Candidates having 10+2 pass certificate available in the ward shall be considered.
Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.
Selection shall be purely on merit basis.
In case of candidates with equal merit, higher age will be preferred.
Candidates with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria for Selection of Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers)

The selection shall be restricted to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years as on 01-01-2026 shall be considered.
The candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.
Minimum qualification shall be Matriculation.
Preference shall be given to married women.
In case no matriculate candidate is available, candidates with qualification not less than VIII standard shall be considered.
Unmarried candidates may be considered only if no married candidate is available.

How to Apply

Application forms complete in all respects as per the prescribed Performa (Annexure A) shall be submitted in the Office of the Child Development Project Officer, Reasi by hand during working hours against proper receipt. Incomplete forms shall be rejected without clarification. No right or claim for candidature shall be entertained.

The ICDS/Poshan Department reserves the right to increase or decrease or withdraw or cancel the advertised vacancies at any point of time.

Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates shall be required to appear for document verification along with original documents and self-attested photocopies within one week after the last date of receipt of application forms.
