Recruitment of 61 Posts under Child Development Project J&K
In pursuance to the Govt. Order No.: 222-JK (SWD) of 2022, dated: 30.11.2022, applications on prescribed format are invited from eligible female candidates for engagement as Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project R.S Pura, on honorary basis.
Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis): 40 Posts
Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayikas): 21 Posts

Eligibility Criteria for Selection of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers)
Women candidate must be in the age group of 18–37 years as on 01-01-2026.
Candidate should be a domicile of UT of J&K.
Candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward where AWC is situated.
Minimum qualification: 10+2, maximum graduation.
If no suitable candidate is available from adjoining ward, candidate from nearest ward within the Panchayat shall be considered with approval of MD Poshan J&K.
Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and selection shall be purely on merit basis.
If eligible candidate is available within the family of retiring AWW/AWH, such candidate shall qualify for additional 2 points.
In case of tie in merit, higher age candidate shall be preferred.
Candidates with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered.

Women candidate must be in the age group of 18–37 years as on 01-01-2026.
Candidate should be a domicile of UT of J&K.
Candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward where AWC is situated.
Minimum qualification: Matriculation.
If no matriculate candidate is available in the ward, candidates with qualification not less than 8th standard shall be considered.
As per SWD/ICDS directives, selection shall be on the basis of marks obtained in Class 10th. In rare cases such as widow-headed household with no source of income or completely destitute lady, preference may be given if all other things are equal.

Affidavit (Annexure ‘B’) duly attested by Judicial Magistrate
How to Apply :
Application forms complete in all respects as per Annexure ‘A’ along with required documents must be submitted in the Office of the Child Development Project Officer, R.S Pura (near Bal Ashram W.No.10) by hand during working hours against proper receipt. Incomplete forms shall be rejected.
