Recruitment of Anganwadi Workers/Helpers in Poshan Project Gool
Advertisement notice for engagement of Sanganis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Gool on honorarium basis.

Approval has been accorded vide letter No. MD/Poshan/Estt/47253-61 dated 24-12-2025 for filling up various vacancies of Sanganis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) for 5th phase out of vacancies as on 30-09-2025 in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Gool. Applications are invited in the prescribed format (Annexure ‘A’) from eligible female candidates as per details against the location/ward given below.
Sanganis (Anganwadi Workers) :
Kalimastra Panchayat – Harra Ward No. 5 – Sanganis (AWW) – 01 Post
Gool-C Panchayat – Chiliyian Ward No. 4 – Sanganis (AWW) – 01 Post
Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayikas):
Dharam-B Panchayat – Hella Ward No. 1 – Sahayikas (AWH) – 01 Post
Budhan-A Panchayat – Budhan-A Ward No. 2 – Sahayikas (AWH) – 01 Post
Sangaldan-B Panchayat – Movelakote-B Ward No. 5 – Sahayikas (AWH) – 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria for Selection of Sanganis (AWWs)
a. Women candidates in the age group of 18–37 years.
b. The candidate should be a domicile of the UT of J&K.
c. The candidate should be resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is situated. Name in the voter list for the ward shall be considered as proof of residence. In case the name appears along with parents, an unmarried certificate issued by the concerned Tehsildar must be produced. In case of dispute, residence proof certified by the concerned SDM/ACR shall be considered.
d. Minimum qualification shall be 10+2 and maximum graduation. If no 10+2 candidate is available in the ward, candidate from adjoining ward may be considered with prior approval of Mission Director, Mission Poshan J&K.
e. If no suitable candidate is available from adjoining ward, candidate from nearest ward within the Panchayat may be considered with approval of Mission Director, Mission Poshan J&K.
f. Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and selection shall be purely on merit basis.
g. Eligible candidate from the family of retiring Anganwadi Worker/Helper shall qualify for additional two percent points.
h. In case of tie in merit, candidate with higher age shall be preferred.
i. Candidates with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered.
Eligibility Criteria for Selection of Sahayikas (AWHs)
a. Selection shall be restricted to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
b. Women candidates in the age group of 18–37 years as on 01-01-2026 shall be considered.
c. The candidate should be a domicile of the UT of J&K.
d. Minimum qualification for Sahayikas shall be Matriculation.
e. Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10th Class and selection shall be purely on merit basis.
f. If no matriculate candidate is available in the ward, candidates with qualification not less than VIII standard shall be considered.
g. The committee shall select a married woman of the ward as Helper from amongst those fulfilling the qualification criteria.

Engagement/relieving order of AWW/AWH if claiming family member of retiring AWW/AWH
E-ration ticket mentioning category and family details attested by TSO concerned
Affidavit sworn before 1st Class Judicial Magistrate stating candidate does not possess qualification higher than graduation
All attached documents shall be self-attested by the candidate.

All attached documents shall be self-attested by the candidate.
The prescribed application forms along with requisite documents shall be submitted in the office of Child Development Project Officer, Poshan Gool during office hours upto the cut-off date 20-01-2026 by 4:00 PM against proper receipt. No application shall be accepted after the last date of submission.
