Applications on plain paper are invited from candidates for the temporary position under DST project entitled “Preparation, characterization and evaluation of the efficacy of nanobiochar based nitrogen and potassium fertilizers on maize productivity under rainfed agro-ecosystem of NW Himalayas” sanctioned in favour of Dr. Vikas Abrol, Principal Investigator, Division of Soil Science & Ag-Chem, FoA, SKUAST-Jammu.

Position & No. of Positions

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) : 01 Post

Emoluments : Rs. 35,000/- p. m. plus HRA

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. Agriculture/Allied subjects/ Physics/ Chemistry
alongwith two years of research experience plus NET/ GATE/equivalent or PhD Agriculture/ Allied subjects/ Physics/Chemistry with NET/GATE/ equivalent.

Desired qualification/ experience : Formulation and characterization of nanomaterial TEM, SEM, XRD, DLS, FTIR spectroscopy, biochar, experience in soil and plant laboratory analysis, laying and conducting of field experimental trials.
