Essential Qualifications :
Candidates must fulfill the following:
Ph.D. Degree in the concerned discipline with a good academic record.
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject.
Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/extension experience equivalent to Assistant Professor / Senior Scientist in a recognized university or research institute.
Evidence of published research work as per UGC norms.
Best scholarships for J&K students after 12th
Age Limit :
Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 55 years as on 01 January 2026
Age relaxation as per SKUAST-Jammu rules.
General Conditions :
Salary and allowances will be governed by SKUAST-Jammu statutes and J&K CSR rules.
Terms of appointment shall be as per University statutes in force.
