Applications are invited from the candidates for the following temporary position at the Institute of Biotechnology, SKUAST-Jammu. The details about the qualifications and emoluments are given below :

Age :
Minimum 21 years and Maximum 45 years (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged/Ex-Serviceman/Women candidates as per Govt. of India Rules)
Emoluments (Rupees) : 35000/- month (fixed)
Minimum Qualification : Post Graduate in Biotechnology
Desirable Qualification :Â
– Ph.D. (Molecular Biology and Biotechnology)
– Candidate should have at least two-year experience of handling molecular Biology experiments and high-end equipment such as Biolistic system, walk-in chamber, RT-PCR, etc
Terms and Conditions for academic arrangement are as under:
I. The engagement shall be purely on contract basis.
II. No legal right to claim his/her regularization/appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular post in the University. In event of the relinquishing of the engagement one month notice is essential.
III. The appointment is for six months. The extension for another six months may be granted subject to satisfactory performance of the appointee and requirement of the Institute.
IV. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of interview separately.
V. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
