TA Rally – Territorial Army J&K Recruitment Rally 2025 – Check all dates
ADVERTISEMENT FOR TERRITORIAL ARMY RECRUITMENT OF ENGINEER REGIMENTS (TERRITORIAL ARMY)
The recruitment for 173, 174 and 175 Engineer Regiments (Territorial Army) will be organised from 15 November to 27 November 2025 at Panzgam (Kupwara).
Eligible candidates volunteer to join the Territorial Army may report for Screening at 0500 Hr as per given schedule. Entry from main Gate will open at 0500 Hr and close at 1000 Hr strictly.
Document checking, screening and medical test of candidates screened in the rally will be held at the venue.

4. Eligibility Criteria :
4.1 Age: 18 to 42 years as on date of recruitment
4.2 Educational Qualification:

For Boards following grading system minimum of ‘D’ Grade (33–40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate. |
4.3 Tattoos
Persons with tattoos visible in physical training dress are not eligible.
4.4 Domicile Certificate
As applicable.
4.5 Physical Standards
Height: 162 Cms (157 Cms in case of Ladakhis).
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standard.
Chest: 84 Cms (79 Cms unexpanded).
4.6 Relaxation in Physical Standards

5. Physical Fitness Test :
Physical fitness test of 1 Mile Run, Pull Ups, Zigzag Balance and 9 Feet Ditch will be conducted.
6. Medical Inspection :
Should be medically fit. Shortlisted candidates shall undergo medical inspection.
7. Written Examination
7.1 Candidates who qualify in the physical and medical examination will undergo written examination, the Question Paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi). The answers will be OMR based.
7.2 Implementation of negative marking will be as under:
Each Correct Answer: 02 Marks (Two marks)
Each Incorrect Answer: –1 Mark (Minus one mark)
Unattempted Questions: 0 Mark (Zero mark)

9. Note :
9.1 Detailed advertisement will be published in Employment News shortly.
9.2 Territorial Army is a purely voluntary organisation with part time commitment only. The organisation does not provide or promise any permanent employment.
9.3 The initial period of enrolment will be 07 (seven) years only. Extension beyond initial 07 years are subject to organisation requirement & fulfilment of other criteria as laid down from time to time.
9.4 The authorities conducting the rally will not be responsible for any accident/injuries to the candidates during recruitment rally.
9.5 Drug test shall be conducted on the candidates who will qualify the written exam and appearing for Screening/Aptitude Test.
