This drive aims to fill one post of Electrician (Retired) at the University of Jammu.
The post is purely temporary and will not lead to any claim for regularization or permanent employment
Important Dates:
The registration process for University of Jammu Electrician post engagement began on 16 July 2025.
Last date for submission of applications is 24 July 2025.
Scrutiny of documents will be carried out from 25 to 28 July 2025.
The interview will be held on 30 July 2025 at 2:00 PM in the University Works Department, University of Jammu.
The tentative date of joining is within one week from selection.
Eligibility Criteria:

The minimum educational qualification required is matriculation (10th pass) along with a two-year ITI diploma in Electrician Trade.
The candidate must be a retired government or autonomous body employee with a minimum of 20 years of experience in relevant electrical work. The upper age limit is 65 years as on the last date of submission of application.
The candidate should be physically fit and capable of handling electric-related assignments in multi-storey buildings and campus-wide electrical infrastructure.

The completed form along with documents must be submitted via speed post or registered post to the Executive Engineer, University Works Department, University of Jammu.
Application Fee :
The application fee is Rs. 500, payable through a demand draft drawn in favour of “Registrar, University of Jammu, Jammu”. Applications without fee will not be considered.
