The University of Kashmir has issued Advertisement Notice–IX inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Contractual Assistant Professors and Contractual Instructors for the Academic Session 2026.
These appointments will be made purely as an academic arrangement for Main Campus and South Campus in the subjects listed below.

4. Applied Art (IMFA) – Instructor
Eligibility:
Master’s degree from a recognized university in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade points

₹250 per application form
₹100 extra for each additional application

Terms and Conditions :
Applicants should stay in contact with the concerned Deans of Schools for updates regarding the interview date, venue and time.
Selected candidates must submit an undertaking duly sworn before a 1st Class Judicial Magistrate stating that:
The engagement is purely need-based for Academic Session 2026.
The engagement will automatically end at the completion of the academic session or when the position is filled on a substantive basis, whichever occurs earlier.
The selected candidate will not claim continuation or regularization of the appointment.
Wages will be fixed based on qualification possessed as on the last date of application submission.
The candidate agrees to all terms and conditions mentioned in the advertisement dated 10-03-2026.
The candidate must not be working in any Government, Semi-Government department, or any other institute.
