Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates (Domicile Of J&k UT) for engagement against the following positions on contract basis for a period of one year or till such time the project is over whichever happens earlier on consolidated emoluments for the establishment of National Inherited Diseases Administration (NIDAN Kendra) supported by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India in the Department of Biochemistry. Govt. Medical College, Srinagar.

Terms & Conditions :-
1) The contractual engagement is not being made against any substantive post and as such won’t confer any right upon the hired persons for regular/permanent appointment. The contractual engagee shall have to furnish an affidavit duly attested by the 1st Class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that he/she will not claim for regular appointment nor will he/she claim continuation in the Department beyond expiry of project/exhaustion of funds at any future date on the strength of this contractual engagement.
2) The engagement will be initially made for one year only, or till continuation of the scheme whichever is earlier and will be extended on yearly basis subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate/approval of the competent authority and:-
a) Availability of Budget;
b) Continuation of this scheme.
3) If a contractual engagee at any point of time willfully neglects or refuses to perform his/her assigned duties engagement shall be terminated forthwith without any notice and he/she shall not be entitled to any salary for such period
4) Only candidates having valid registration of their Degree certificates can participate in the selection process
5) The selected candidates have to work as per the job assigned under the above referred scheme.
The applicants must have to attach the self-attested Photostat copies of the below mentioned documents, with their application forms:
a) Certificates of Ph.D degree in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry/Biotechnology. Post Ph.D experience certificate.
b) Certificates of M.Sc degree in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry/Biotechnology. Two year’s experience certificate in the relevant field. Certificate having qualified NET/GATE.
c) Certificates of B.Sc/M.Sc degree in Medical Lab. Technology or B.Sc/M.Sc degree in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry. Experience certificate in the relevant field.
d) Domicile Certificate.
e) Date of Birth Certificate.
The applications should reach to the office of the Head of the Department, Biochemistry, Govt. Medical College Srinagar by or before 30th October, 2024 upto 3:00PM.
The selected candidates shal have to execute an agreement that he/she will not leave the Department before the completion of three year’s contract. However abandoning/termination of the arrangement in the Specialty will require one month’s prior notice on either side, failing which the salary shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit
with the Department and shall be released on completion of sanctioned term.
The applications of those candidates shall be rejected who fail to attach any requisite requirements/documents/marks sheets with their application formats.

In case of any dispute, the decision of the Chairperson of the selection Committee shall be final.
