In Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. 16 new positive cases have been reported since our last update yesterday, all from Kashmir Division. Moreover, equal No. of COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged front various Division. (29 April. 2020; upto 5:30 PM)

Govt, of Union Territory of J&K has devised a robust mechanism of integrated Health Audit & Intensive Screening Framework through mobile H Swasthya Nidhi App ” for door to door survey to ascertain the spread of COVID-19 on ‘Teal time basis” for large areas that would enable the administration in taking measures for effective combat against the spread of Novel Corona Virus.

• Tire Swasthya Nidhi App is being used by screening teams to collect & house hold, their travel history, any COVID-19 like symptoms and any J&K.who can plan a visit based on the inputs provided. Once the Doctor visits the

Surveillance or recommend the house hold for Quarantine and Testing.

• People are therefore requested to cooperate with the visiting screening team members, provide the correct information and help us to win the fight against COVID-19.

Early detection of COVID-19 can prevent the spread of disease, let us be responsible for the well-being of ourselves and everyone around us. Not disclosing symptoms could put life of individuals and their families at risk. In case of symptoms like fever, cough and difficulty in breathing report early. Do not fear, call COVID-19 helpline No.s and seek medical advice.

Unless absolutely necessary don’t step out of home, stay indoors. If you have to move out for unavoidable reasons, ensure that you wear a mask and practice social distancing, personal hygiene and frequent handwashing.
