Amit Shah will visit J&K on Tuesday; security review and public meetings are on agenda

The Lieutenant Governor for Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha and top officials from the Army and paramilitary forces as well as state police and civil administration will be taking part in this high-level conference.

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah will examine the situation in security, take part in public gatherings and lay the foundations for several developments during his two-day trip to Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah’s visit to J-K is scheduled to start on the 4th of October, on a Tuesday. He will begin his journey at 10 am and will offer prayers at the Vaishno Devi temple on the 4th of October.

Then, he will speak at a public gathering in Rajouri approximately for one-and-a-half hours.

The Minister will also launch development projects as well as lay the foundation stone for several initiatives at the Convention Centre in Jammu.

The next day during his trip Wednesday (October 5), Shah will review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir during a meeting that is scheduled to take place in the Raj Bhavan in Srinagar.

The Minister will then speak at a public gathering in the town of Baramulla at around 11.30 am. He will address the crowd.

In the final stages of his trip on his visit to Union Territory, Shah will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several developments in Srinagar at around 3.30 pm
