Army’s Cheetah Helicopter Crashes Near Arunachal’s Bomdila, Search On For 2 Pilots

An Army Aviation Cheetah helicopter flying an operational sortie near Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh bordering China is reported to have crashed near Mandala, west of Bomdila.

Defence PRO Lt col Mahendra Rawat said, “Search parties have been launched. The chopper was reported to have lost contact with the ATC at around 9:15 am on Thursday.”

The search operation for the pilots is under way.
