Awantipora accident: One more injured succumbs, toll five

Another labourer from Bihar, who was injured in a road accident in Awantipora area of Pulwama district, has succumbed to his injuries, taking the death toll to five.

A local news agency reported that Gulzar Ansari son of Munib Ansari of Bihar succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital in Srinagar.


Awantipora Accident: Four killed, several injured

According to police, a bus turned turtle on Saturday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Awantipora subdistrict, killing four Bihar labourers and injuring more than twenty.

On their route from Jammu to Srinagar, most of the bus’s passengers were labourers.

According to officials, 32 passengers were hurt when the bus went turtle this morning near Barsoo Awantipora on the Jammu-Srinagar route.

A health official in south Kashmir stated that the injured were transported to a nearby medical facility, where four of them were immediately pronounced dead.
